Sign up to receive information about joining one or more planning teams described below. It’s a great way to meet new people, help build a vibrant social community, and have a great time.

1. Budgeting/Accounting
Create a budget and oversee accounting issues and allocate scholarship funds.
Team leader: Jonathan Gerber

2. Facilities and Event Management
Investigate potential event sites and manage onsite catering and facilities logistics. Audio visual needs are part of this team's responsibilites.

3. Fundraising
Prepare a business plan, submit grant applications, and approach potential funders.
Team leaders: Harry Nelson and Alan Paul

4. Marketing
Establish branding and publicize the event.
Team leaders: Leah Kabaker and Jenny Han

5. Web/Technology
Maintain the website, email communications, and technological infrastructure.
Team leader: Jonathan Gerber

6. Volunteer Recruitment
This group engages volunteers for the other teams and for the weekend of Limmud.
Team leader: Rebecca Krasner & Aileen Heinberg

7. Family Programming
Create programming for children and families and recruit staff for children and family programs.
Team leader: Orley Denman

8. College/High School Recruitment
Reach out to the teens and young adults in the LA area. College and high school recruitment is a part of the general recruitment team: youngvolunteers@limmudla.org

9. Participant and Volunteer Care
Help manage the needs of attendees and volunteers at Limmud LA.
Team leader: Zev Fried

10. Programming
Identify and recruit presenters, teachers, and discussants and manage scheduling issues.
Team leaders: Valerie Salkin and Abigail Yasgur

11. Scholarships
Allocate scholarship funds to appropriate recipients.
